Fabric Dyes
   Throughout history many substances have been used to color fabrics, including: Ferrous Oxide or Rust (red); Oak Galls (black); Lead Oxide (red); Walnut Shells (brown); Barberry Tree (yellow); and Cinnabar (orangish-red). There are many other substances used, these are just a few. See Mordant.
